Shadows play over the bridge at Norton Junction. This is bridge 10. A solitary narrowboat moored alone in the foreground. The gate of the cottage in the background is framed by the arch of the bridge and the late autumn sunshine works hard to light the scene.
You’ll not be able to sit down at this table to eat your picnic as it’s on private land. This picnic table sits in the grounds of the cottage at Norton Junction. I manged to capture this image just before the weeks washing was hung on the line to dry.
Taken from just under bridge 10, turn left to for Leicester and straight on past the houses in the background for the Buckby flight and beyond.
