Narrowboat Pied Piper

I managed to get out for a brief visit to Braunston last week. Here is a picture of narrowboat Pied Piper making its way through Braunston passing narrowboat Ubique who have their own blog. Ubique is currently experiencing problems with its fuel system. Unfortunately Ubique is moored left of image where it is not so easy to get a decent picture, so this one will currently suffice as meeting the needs of ‘Bloggers That I’ve Imaged’. Granny Buttons and Piston Broke were moored here some months ago and proved equally difficult to image. I continue to keep an eye out for them passing my direction again.

Narrowboat Moored at Locks

Narrowboat Duplin moored above Lock No. 3 at Braunston on the Grand Union Canal. Lock No. 3 is the site of The Admiral Nelson Public House recently closed for business.

Duplin is a 55ft traditional style narrowboat with portholed cabin sides was advertised as for sale at the time this image was created.
