Bridge 95 Braunston

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

I woke up this morning and discovered that my image of a narrowboat exiting under bridge 95 near Braunston Junction has gained an unexpected feature with the ‘Which Way’ group over at redbubble.com. This has promted some very encouraging comment.

Themis said, “Beautiful scene, well captured. Indeed, the composition is interesting (symmetrical but not quite, and more natural because of that)”

worldtripper said “What a stunning view and perfect timing on capturing this shot!”

Narrowboat Pied Piper

Saturday, October 17th, 2009

I managed to get out for a brief visit to Braunston last week. Here is a picture of narrowboat Pied Piper making its way through Braunston passing narrowboat Ubique who have their own blog. Ubique is currently experiencing problems with its fuel system. Unfortunately Ubique is moored left of image where it is not so easy to get a decent picture, so this one will currently suffice as meeting the needs of  ‘Bloggers That I’ve Imaged’. Granny Buttons and Piston Broke were moored here some months ago and proved equally difficult to image. I continue to keep an eye out for them passing my direction again.
