Decorated Buckby Cans. Water containers carried upon the narrowboat cabin, commonly on the left side. This may have been the only water supply whilst moving about in years past. Narrowboat “Sculptor” is often moored outside of the museum at Stoke Bruerne. It’s quite common today for these kinds of containers to be known as “Buckby Cans”.
