I know that a lot of you boaters out there, especially those of you that host blogs, have some great images of the UK waterways.

I am currently co moderator for the UK Narrowboats & Canals group over at redbubble.com. We are always happy to welcome new photographers and artists who wish to have their images added to the group.

£2m Funding Secured For Northampton Marina

“The final piece of funding for the £2 million development at Becket’s Park was put in place yesterday and work is now expected to start on the project in January.”

“Once it is completed, the marina will provide moorings for more than 80 boats and is expected to become a regional centre for the boating community.”

I’ve not had much opportunity with the recent spell of wet weather to get canal side in search of new images these past few weeks. So in order to give my growing audience something fresh to look at, I have decided to include a link to the facinating site at blisworth.org.uk. Ernie and Ten Bob Note

It has been noted by other bloggers that Ernie’s site had been returning a 404 error. Alan from narrowboat Lazy Days has spoken with Ernie today between Rickmansworth and Denham. It appears Ernie has given up his blog as it had been taking too much of his time to maintain. His blog and photographs of his travels will be missed by many, myself included.

Alan and Frances of narrowboat Lazy Days are now officially retired from work and began full time cruising today. You are able to follow their forthcoming adventures by clicking here.
